Big thanks to Pete, Martin & Rollo for running another top notch race meet, and everyone who pitched in throughout the day. well done

Had a couple of breakages in the practice runs, then 3 good runs in the heats placed me 6 secs behind Rollo & 9 secs behind the stig.Had my usual 1st lap disaster in the final & managed to claw back up to third.Engine cut at the pit stop, but managed to hold 3rd till the end, so well happy Grin

Getting closer to the 8 lapper in 5.20...maybe next time wink wink

My 'Driver of the day' goes to Pete.....Shawsome performance in both finals & the dash...well done homie  winner

Roll on the next round!!!!!!!

next round is a while away but I wonder if people would be up for a pre round LOl

A raceday that doesnt coount toward points but will have wee prizes etc . Format could be played with too .  I have ideas ...LOL

I was thinking things like ....

1. A one lap shoot out between 2 cars .....winner goes to A final loser goes to B final

or

2. 1 car starts on the main straight...one car starts at a point half way round the track and they set of and race until one car catches up with the other .  then the winners do the same against the winners and losers against losers until only one man standing  Smiley

the things above are very short and could be fun .   No real raceday pressure and plenty of time between events .  wee prizes given .    

A bit of competative fun to keep interest high between racedays ?

mind i did that with the hong nor, think it poled, beat my buggy time by miles, weird since it was pretty slow, goes to show how forgiving truggys are eh
