hi, i have a mate i cant convert to 1/8th offroad lol, he is still bashing his nitro 1/10th scale in car parks etc!

i remember the difference in my intrest from bashing to going to csor track and think he'd love it

so i'm basically looking for info for him, like where your club is, when its open, prices etc?

Hi, for more information have a look at www.ekmodelcarclub.co.uk
but unfortunatley the club is closing at the end of June.  We are
currently trying to find another venue for the winter months, but
at the moment, our doors will be closing at the end of June when
the schools close for the summer break.

Seriously though you should just join CSOR and do the heats there on a Sunday.  Are electric ESCs not available in waterproof form these days ?

thanks mate, shame you're closing down soon. do you have another club that you guys go to when yours is closed?

The best club of 1/10 offroad is Falkirk, they meet at Grangemouth indoors on a sunday.  Check out www.falkirkrcc.co.uk

would he be ok  to run his nitro at the club? or is there an on road nitro club?

tom - sinde EK and we run mainly indoors nitro indoors is impracticle , electric turing is much more popular , shame as i loved racing my nitro tourer

i thought that might be the case - i've seen videos on youtube of indoor nitro n it just looks like a sore head n stingy eyed experience!

do you know of any on road nitro clubs or tracks he could go to?

I'm afraid theres nothing in scotland for 1/10 onroad nitro.  Stirling & Benarty clubs used to run nitro but I don't think these clubs exists anymore.
although benarty still gets used for 1/10 electric.

It all seems to be offroad for nitro.
